Message From the Principal
Welcome to GreenTree Preparatory Academy!
My name is Katrina Fisher and I’m excited to be leading GreenTree Preparatory Academy (GPA). We are a newly established school located on the northwest side of Milwaukee. We welcomed our first students in the 2019-2020 school year.
I’m very passionate about education and I look forward to partnering with you to provide our students with a rigorous, engaging, and high-quality middle/high school experience. As the parent of two children, I recognize the importance of a strong home-school connection. Parents are every child’s first teacher and I believe that by working together, we can make sure your child’s social, emotional, and academic needs are met.
At GreenTree Preparatory Academy, our vision is to provide a safe, nurturing, and professional community of learning where students are educated, empowered, and enabled to develop the essential skills necessary to lead and exceed.
I believe that great schools are the result of great teachers, so my primary objective will be to ensure that every student is receiving high-quality instruction from every teacher at GPA. To ensure that our students are prepared for college and 21st century careers, I will be providing teachers with feedback on their instruction, including access to professional development, and reaching out to parents for support with academic and other concerns as needed.
I will be working closely GPA’s Assistant Principals and Academic Deans to guarantee that all of our scholars are intellectually challenged and have access to the social and emotional support. Please get involved with GreenTree Preparatory Academy to ensure that your voices are heard or send me an email directly at [email protected]
I am deeply grateful to have been chosen to lead this school and am impressed with all of those who have committed themselves to making this school a reality. GreenTree Preparatory Academy is a story of what can happen when students, parents, staff and the community work together to achieve a common goal. I invite you to our campus to tour our school and meet our new staff. Enrollment is currently open for the 2024-2025 school year. We look forward to meeting you!
With Great Appreciation,
Dr. Katrina Fisher
